PUBG Battlegrounds teases upcoming Deston Map; Skyscrapers and swampland on offer
PUBG Battlegrounds will bring Deston Map with skyscrapers and swampland, new vehicles and much more.
PUBG Battlegrounds is likely to launch a new map soon. Krafton, the developer of the game, has released the teaser of the new Deston Map via a tweet. They tweeted, “The next 8x8 Battleground arrives with Update 18.2. Welcome to Deston.” The new map will contain exciting elements such as skyscrapers and swampland. The teaser hints at several locations like swamps, skyscrapers, and what sounds like new vehicles. Additionally, it also looks like that the players will get to ride small boats across swampland and engage in combat over water in the new map.

PUBG Battlegrounds has even posted the details of Kiki Map in one of its blog post. They shared, “The 8×8 goodness doesn't end with Tiger. In late 2021/early 2022, our 4th 8×8 map will launch. Kiki will boast a diverse set of locations, from mysterious underground labs to massive skyscrapers to swampland to subways to underwater buildings – we're looking at many different locations to thrill and challenge survivors in our most diverse and exploration-focused Battleground yet.”
The addition of skyscrapers to PUBG Battlegrounds map will be a major change for the players. This is the first time that the game will be experimenting with verticality and taller structures.
Meanwhile, Krafton has recently launched the first images of its virtual human Ana. Powered by hyperrealism, rigging, and deep learning, she is designed to “engage a global audience and help establish Krafton's Web 3.0 ecosystem.” She is developed using “Unreal Engine” that displays a hyper-realistic appearance, blurring the lines between a digital character and a real human. She also possesses human-like features, such as the baby hairs and fluff on her skin while the highly-advanced face rigging technology expresses the movement of the pupil, fine facial muscles, and wrinkles. The advanced voice synthesis used to create Ana's voice let her act and sing like a real human.
