Infinix is set to launch its first laptop in India and ahead of the launch, a couple of details have emerged. The laptop, called the Infinix INBook X1, will launch with Windows 11 onboard. While Infinix is not revealing the prices yet, it has given us some idea about the rest of the features and specs, including the processor options.

The INBook X1 is said to be the first laptop in its segment to offer a metal body design in its segment. This suggests that Infinix could gunning for the affordable-end segment of the laptop market. The laptop will weigh 1.4 kilos and will have a thickness of 16.3mm.

Infinix INBook X1 laptop details revealed

Infinix will launch the laptop in three colours: Noble Red, Starfull Grey and Aurora Green. The renders reveal a dual-tone design on the lid while the keyboard deck has the MacBook Air-style island keys design. The laptop also appears to feature all the necessary ports, although Infinix is yet to reveal the specs.

Infinix confirms offering the laptop with Intel Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 processors. However, there's no clarity on whether these processors belong to the newest 11th Gen or the previous 10th Gen models. The laptop will run Windows 11 out of the box.

What remains to be seen is how Infinix prices these laptops in India. Currently, the Realme Book Slim is among the most affordable laptops built by a smartphone brand. Infinix could be looking to undercut Realme with the INBookX1 laptop. Xiaomi's RedmiBook laptops are also among the most affordable optiosn available in the market, although the RedmiBook models are large 15-inch laptops whereas the Realme Book and this upcoming Infinix laptops are 14-inch compact models. It also remains to be seen what kind of onboard storage, battery capacity and display quality does Infinix offer on this laptop.
