Apple just released an iPhone 12 ad; we can't get enough of it and it will make you smile too

The world may be talking a lot about the upcoming Apple iPhone 13, but right now, as far as Apple is concerned, it is the iPhone 12 that is keeping the bread, butter and much more, rolling in. Keeping that in mind and to push the sales along, Apple has just released a new iPhone 12 ad and it is riveting, making you watch it again and again. It may have to do with the beautiful setting, the man in a cowboy hat and his faithful dog in a truck that virtually meld into the background or perhaps, even the catchy song that is in keeping with the mood and the intent of the ad. Whatever it is, it definitely is captivating.

The iPhone 12 ad shows a rancher driving in his MUV (truck) with a cowboy hat in a field littered with hay and he is looking for something. At the same time the song, "Searching (For Someone Like You)" by country singer Kitty Wells is playing loud and crystal clear.

The man stops his truck and walks to a haystack and it is clear he is looking for something. It is a play on the old needle in a haystack phrase, of course, but it is not clear what exactly he is looking for.

Until he suddenly lifts his arm to reveal the Apple Watch on his wrist. He taps on it gently and immediately it elicits a sound

from the haystack. The man, still without any show of emotion, reaches into the haystack with his hand and pulls out an iPhone 12! He had obviously lost his iPhone and suspected it to be in the haystack, but then, how do you reach it? To do that, he tapped on his Apple Watch's Control Centre to ping his iPhone and thereby let it reveal its location.

It is then that the rancher allows himself the luxury of a little self-satisfactory grimace, blows the dust off the phone, nonchalantly drops it into the back pocket of his jeans and casually walks back to his truck.

The ad has this legend emblazoned at the end is - Relax, it's iPhone 12 + Watch.

Of course, there is another reliable method that can be used to find a lost iPhone, if your Watch is not within range of the phone and that is through the Find My app.
