HMD launches Nokia C01 Plus in partnership with Reliance Retail; check price and specs

HMD Global has partnered Reliance Retail to launch a new pocket-friendly smartphone in India - the Nokia C01 Plus. The phone was launched in India alongside the Nokia G10, which was rolled out globally back in April this year. At the time, HMD Global had also launched the Nokia X10, Nokia X20, Nokia C10, Nokia C20, and the Nokia G20 at a global launch event.

Nokia C01 Plus price and offers

The Nokia C01 Plus is available at a price of ₹5,999 for the 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage. The Nokia C01 Plus will be available in Blue and Purple colour variants via all leading offline retail stores, e-commerce platforms and Nokia.com. HMD Global said that interested customers who choose to avail the JioExclusive offer will get an instant price support of 10% on the best buy price, and will have to pay ₹5,399 for purchasing the Nokia C01 Plus smartphone.

Furthermore, HMD Global said customers can avail the JioExclusive offer at participating Retail stores or through the MyJio app. In case of self-enrolment via MyJio app, they can opt for the JioExclusive offer within 15 days of activating the device and the Price Support benefits would be passed directly to customer's bank account via UPI within 30 minutes of successful enrolment.

Nokia C01 Plus specs

As far as the specifications are concerned, HMD Global says that the Nokia C01 Plus features a 5.45-inch HD display with a resolution of 720x1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The Nokia C01 Plus is powered by an octa-core 1.6GHz processor that is coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage space that can be expanded further using a microSD card of up to 128GB storage space. It runs on Android 11 operating system Go Edition with two years of quarterly security updates.

Coming to the cameras, the Nokia C01 Plus comes with a 5MP rear camera with flash and a 2MP front-facing camera with a flash. For connectivity, the Nokia C01 Plus has Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, Wi-Fi, FM radio, USB 2.0 port, and 3.5mm jack. The Nokia C01 Plus has a face unlock feature for security and a nano SIM card slot. The Nokia C01 Plus smartphone comes with a 3,000mAh battery.
