HTC Wildfire E3 with Helio P22 SoC launched: Check price, specs

The phone comes with a 4,000mAh battery, up to 128GB storage, and HD+ display.

HTC Wildfire E3 goes official (HTC )

HTC on Sunday introduced a new smartphone under its Wildfire series. Called Wildfire E3, the phone is currently available in Russia. It is priced around Eur 150 ( ₹13,000 approximately). There is no word on when the phone will be rolled out in other markets.

The new handset comes in two colour options, black and blue. It measures 165.7 x 76.57 x 8mm and weighs about 186 grams. The phone has a 6.51-inch display with HD+ resolution and an IPS panel.

For performance, HTC Wildfire E3 relies on MediaTek's Helio P22 processor. It comes with 4GB of RAM. The phone is available in two storage variants, 64GB and 128GB. There is also a microSD card slot for expandable storage. A 4,000mAh battery powers the phone. It ships with a 10W charger.

In the photography department, the handset offers a quad-camera setup on the back. The configuration consists of a 13-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone also has an LED flash on the back. On the front, it houses a 13-megapixel camera for selfies.

Other features of the latest HTC phone are Bluetooth 4.2, rear fingerprint reader, 3.5mm headphone jack, and dual-SIM support.

Vs Wildfire E2

HTC had launched the Wildfire E2 in August last year. The handset came with a 6.21-inch IPS display with HD+ resolution. It ran on MediaTek's Helio P22 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The phone housed 64GB of built-in storage. The phone also supported a microSD card for expandable storage up to 128GB. A 4,000mAh battery powered the phone.

For photography, it offered a combination of a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor on the back. For selfies, it had an 8-megapixel camera.

Other features of the phone were Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C support.
