Huawei Nove 8 SE is coming soon, key specs leaked

Huawei will soon launch Nova 8 SE mid-range smartphone. The phone is said to come with 66W fast charger, which also ships with Huawei’s flagship Mate 40 Pro.

Huawei is working on a new smartphone under its Nova series. Called Nova 8 SE, the smartphone will succeed the Nova 7 SE 5G Youth. Ahead of the official launch, key details of the phone have already leaked online.

According to GSMArena, Huawei's Nova 8 SE will come with a 6.53-inch display with an OLED panel and full HD+ resolution. The biggest highlight of the phone is going to be the 66W fast charger, which also ships with Huawei's flagship Mate 40 Pro.

The report further says that Huawei Nova 8 SE will be available in two chipset versions. The base model will have Dimensity 720 processor whereas the other model will come with Dimensit 800U processor. Both versions are powered by MediaTek processors and come with 5G support.

In the photography department, Huawei Nova 8 SE will come with a quad-camera setup. The configuration is said to be 48-megapixel primary sensor coupled with 8-megapixel, 2-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. For selfies, it will offer a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.

The report adds that the main difference between Nova 8 SE and the predecessor is that the upcoming phone has a slimmer and lighter profile. The upcoming Huawei phone will reportedly be just 7.46mm slim and weigh around 178 grams.

Separately, Huawei has launched Mate 30E Pro in China. The phone runs on Kirin 990E chipset. It comes with a 6.53-inch FHD+ OLED display. It has a quad-camera setup with a 40-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 40-megapixel wide-angle lens, an 8-megapixel sensor with OIS, and a ToF sensor. The smartphone comes with a 32-megapixel camera up front for selfies.
