Huawei Mate 30E Pro with Kirin 990E chipset launched
Huawei Mate 30E Pro appears to be an upgraded version of the Mate 30 Pro.
Huawei earlier this week launched its flagship Mate 40 series featuring four phones in total. Huawei launched another smartphone, Mate 30E Pro in China but this was a quiet one. Huawei Mate 30E Pro comes with the new Kirin 990E chipset which is an improved version of the Kirin 990 chipset.
Huawei Mate 30E Pro will go on sale in China next month. The company hasn't revealed the price of the phone yet. It comes in four colour options of Space Silver, Emerald Green, Cosmic Purple and Black. The smartphone also comes in Vegan Leather Forest Green and Vegan Leather Orange.
In terms of specs, Huawei Mate 30E Pro features a 6.53-inch FHD+ OLED display. The smartphone is powered by the Kirin 990E SoC paired with 8GB of RAM. It has two storage variants of 128GB and 256GB. Huawei Mate 30E Pro runs EMUI 11 based on Android out-of-the-box.
It has a quad-camera setup with a 40-megapixel ultra wide angle sensor, a 40-megapixel wide angle lens, an 8-megapixel sensor with OIS, and a ToF sensor. The smartphone features a 32-megapixel camera up front for selfies.
Connectivity options on the Huawei Mate 30E Pro include 5G, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, Infrared, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone also features an in-display fingerprint sensor. Huawei Mate 30E Pro packs a 4,500mAh battery with support for 40W SuperCharge fast charging, and 27W fast wireless charging.
Huawei Mate 30E Pro appears to be an upgraded version of the Mate 30 Pro with identical specs and features but a faster chipset, and the latest EMUI 11.
