The difference between the Pro and non-Pro models of the iPhone 14 series is very much evident. It shows in the display, new Dynamic Island to even the photography sensors. Apple introduced a massive 48MP camera on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max, while the vanilla and Plus models continued with the old 12MP camera setup. However, it seems like the trend is now going to be changed with the upcoming iPhone 15 series. The latest leak by analyst Jeff Pu of Haitong Intl Tech Research suggested that iPhone fans can expect major camera upgrades on all iPhone models in 2023, which includes iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus too.

As per a report of 9to5Mac, Jeff Pu claims that the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will bring three-stacked sensors with a 48MP wide lens for the first time. So far, the 48MP camera is exclusively for iPhone 14 Pro models. However, the basic model of the iPhone 15 series will still not get a telephoto lens for optical zoom, which is expected to be available on the pricier models of the iPhone 15 lineup.

Apart from the upgraded camera sensor, the standard and Plus models are also expected to feature a USB-C port while replacing the Lightning port and the powerful A16 Bionic chipset.
