Mi 11 Lite to feature a new Qualcomm chip, 64MP camera: Report

Xiaomi will introduce Mi 11 series globally on February 8. According to reports, the series will also include a Lite version. Ahead of the official launch, Mi 11 Lite has leaked once again.

A GSMArena report citing a Chinese source reveals Mi 11 Lite will come with an OLED display with a punch-hole camera on the front. The phone is said to run on Qualcomm SM7350 processor. The report further reveals Mi 11 Lite will come with a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 5x telephoto sensor. The SM7350 processor is said to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 755G chip which will be based on the 5nm-based process.

We are likely to find out about the Lite model in the coming days.

That said, Mi 11 is one of the first phones in the world to offer Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 processor. The phone comes with a 6.81-inch WQHD AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+ support and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

In the photography department, it offers a triple camera setup featuring a 108-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 5-megapixel macro lens. For selfies, there is a 20-megapixel camera up front.

Apart from Snapdragon 888 processor, it packs a 4,600mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 4+ fast charging. It also supports wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging. On the software front, Mi 11 runs Android 11-based MIUI 12.5.
