Realme on Monday announced the launch of a new smartphone in China. Called X50 Pro Player, the new Realme phone is an upgraded variant of the X50 Pro and is focused on the gaming enthusiasts.

Realme X50 Pro Player comes in multiple variants. The base model featuring 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at CNY 2,999 ( 32,000 approximately). Other two models come with 8GB, 128GB and 12GB, 128GB configurations and are priced at CNY 3,299 ( 35,200 approximately) and CNY 3,599 ( 38,000 approximately) respectively. The phone is scheduled to go on sale in China on June 1.

Realme X50 Pro Player comes with a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by Qualcomm's top-end Snapdragon 865 processor and also has 5G connectivity. Realme X50 Pro Player runs on a 4,200mAh battery coupled with 65W fast charging support.

For gaming, X50 Pro Player comes with a HyperBoost 3.0 which is said to optimise the gaming experience by re-managing the memory, chipset, and battery consumption. The technology also allows seamless switching between different radios including Wi-Fi, LTE, and 5G. This is said to ensure no drop when playing a game. For heat management, Realme has used graphite sheets between the battery.

In the camera department, Realme X50 Pro Player has a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, it has two cameras featuring 16-megapixel primary and 2-megapixel secondary sensors.
