It looks like Realme's unannounced X50 Pro Player gaming smartphone might have a different camera setup than the X50 Pro 5G, on which the entire phone was said to be based. The new device has shown up on Tenaa certification website but with a minor change in the camera specs. As per the listing, the Realme X50 Pro Player will feature a 48-megapixel primary rear shooter and a 16-megapixel front facing camera.

It has been mentioned that there will be a quad camera setup at the back including a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel sensor and a couple of 2-megapixel sensors. That's different from the original X50's 64-megapixel primary camera, 12-megapixel telephoto camera, 8megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel depth camera. So, in the upcoming gaming smartphone, it looks like Realme is replacing the ultra-wide camera with a macro lens and of course, the primary camera with less megapixel count.

mobile to buy?

At the front, the Realme X50 Pro Player may feature 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel setup, down from the 32-megapixel and 8-megapixel setup.

However, the smartphone is said to retain the Realme X50 Pro 5G's 6.44-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution and an on-screen fingerprint scanner. The handset is also certified with three RAM and storage options - 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB inbuilt storage.

Realme has already revealed May 25 as the launch date of the X50 Pro Player in China. As per the official render of the phone shared by Realme, X50 Player looks identical to the company's X50 Pro. The phone is seen in a silver colour variant. Since it's a gaming-focused phone, the phone is speculated to come with top-of-the-line specifications including Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 processor.

The new teaser comes at a time when Realme is prepping for the launch of Realme TV and Realme Watch. These two will be the first in their lineup. Scheduled to launch on May 25, Realme TV is said to have a 43-inch display with LED panel and run on Android TV. The watch has also been leaked a few times in the past, revealing the looks.
