Redmi 9 Prime, Redmi 9 to go on sale in India today at 12 noon

Redmi 9 Prime starts at ₹9,999, while the Redmi 9 has a slightly lower price of ₹8,999.

There are two Redmi smartphones that are scheduled to go on sale in India today. It's the Redmi 9 and Redmi 9 Prime, and both phones launched in India last month. The smartphones will be available to purchase via Amazon India and mi.com.

The sale for Redmi 9 and Redmi 9 Prime is scheduled to start at 12 PM later today. Redmi 9 Prime starts at ₹9,999 for the base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It also comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage that is priced at ₹11,999. Redmi 9 Prime has three colour options of Matte Black, Mint Green, and Space Blue. 

Redmi 9 is priced slightly lower at ₹8,999 for the base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Its 4GB+128GB variant is priced at ₹9,999. You can get the Redmi 9 in Carbon Black, Sky Blue and Sporty Orange colours.

Redmi 9 Prime features a 6.53-inch full HD+ display, and it is powered by MediaTek's Helio G80 chipset. It has a quad-camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor. There's an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies. Redmi 9 Prime packs a 5,020mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
