Samsung Galaxy A72 4G now spotted on NBTC site
Samsung will reportedly launch Galaxy A72 along with Galaxy A52 in Indian next month.
Samsung Galaxy A72 4G has made another early appearance on the web ahead of the official launch. This time around the phone has been spotted on Thailand’s NBTC certification website. The listing does not reveal specifications of the phone but does hint at its imminent launch.
Samsung Galaxy A72 4G will reportedly come with a 6.7-inch display with full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. It will have an AMOLED panel. The phone is rumoured to come with a quad-camera setup, which will be comprised of a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor, 8-megapixel depth sensor, and 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, it is said to come with a 32-megapixel sensor.
For performance, Samsung Galaxy A72 4G will offer Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor coupled with 8GB of RAM. There are rumours of the phone being available in 6GB of RAM. The phone will come in 128GB and 256GB storage options. On the software front, it will run on Android 11 out-of-the-box.
Other leaked features of Samsung Galaxy A72 4G are 5,000mAh battery, 25W charging support, USB Type-C, microSD card support, and IP67 certification for water and dust resistance.
According to reports, Samsung Galaxy A72 (both 4G and 5G versions) will launch in India next month. The smartphone will also be accompanied by another A-series phone, Galaxy A52.
Samsung is also reportedly working on 4G and 5G iterations of the Galaxy A52. The 5G version will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor. The 4G variant will have the Snapdragon 720G processor. Galaxy A52 5G will also differ with a higher refresh rate screen as compared to 90Hz on the Galaxy A52.
Common features of the two models are rumoured to be 6.5-inch full HD+ AMOLED display, a 4,500mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging and a 3.5mm headphone jack, quad-camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel sensor and 2-megapixel sensor.
