Samsung Galaxy A72, Galaxy A52 tipped to launch in India next month

Samsung is expected to launch 4G and 5G variants of the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72.

Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 smartphones have been rumoured for quite some time now. Samsung is yet to announce the launch date for these smartphones which is expected to take place in March. A new leak now suggests the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 will launch in India next month.

The India launch timeline for Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 is around mid-March, according to a new report by 91mobiles. Samsung is expected to launch the 4G and 5G variants of Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72. It isn't confirmed yet whether Samsung will launch the 5G variants of the smartphones in India. Based on the latest leak, it looks like the global debut and India launch will take place at the same time.

In terms of specs, Galaxy A52 and its 5G variant will offer almost the same set of specifications. These include a 6.5-inch full HD+ AMOLED display, a 4,500mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Both smartphones are also said to feature a quad-camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, a 5-megapixel sensor, and 2-megapixel sensor.

Galaxy A52 is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor while the Galaxy A52 5G will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor. Galaxy A52 5G will also differ with a higher refresh rate display as opposed to 90Hz on the Galaxy A52.

More expected specs on the Galaxy A52 smartphones include 6GB and 8GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage, and a 32-megapixel punch-hole camera.

As for the Galaxy A72, the 4G variant is said to launch with 8GB of RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor, and a 6.7-inch AMOLED display. Its camera configuration could be the same as Galaxy A52 5G.
