Samsung Galaxy A72, A52 India pricing tipped ahead of launch
Samsung Galaxy A72 and Galaxy A52 will launch in two variants each, according to a new report.
Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 smartphones are expected to launch on March 17. A lot has been revealed already about the two phones, and a new leak now suggests the possible pricing of the Galaxy A phones in India.
Galaxy A52 will start at ₹26,499 for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, according to a report by MySmartPrice. The smartphone is said to come with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage as well carrying a price tag of ₹27,999. Galaxy A72 will also come in two variants of 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB that cost ₹34,999 and ₹37,999, respectively. Samsung has teased the launch event but hasn't revealed which phones it will launch on that day. But the event's name being “Galaxy Awesome Unpacked” hints at the likeliness of the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72.
In terms of specs, Galaxy A52 is expected to come with an Infinity-O display topped with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will pack a 4,500mAh battery, and a 32-megapixel selfie camera. It will sport four rear cameras including a combination of an 8-megapixel, 64-megapixel, 2-megapixel and 5-megapixel cameras. Galaxy A52 5G will also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor, and IP67 dust and water resistance.
The more expensive Galaxy A72 is expected to come with flagship features such as 3X optical zoom and 30X space zoom on its quad-camera setup. The combination will include a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 20-megapixel ultra wide camera, an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. Galaxy A72 is also said to feature new Snapchat lenses that will be embedded directly into the camera app.
It is rumoured to feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate backed by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 720G processor. The smartphone could be offered in two variants of 6GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB RAM+256GB. More expected specs include a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging, and a 32-megapixel front camera.
