LG is a South Korean electronics company headquartered in Seoul that was founded in 1958 by Koo In-h...woi as GoldStar. After the Korean War, the company was founded to produce consumer electronics and household appliances for the local market. As a result, it was the first manufacturer of radios, televisions, refrigerators, washing machines, and air conditioners in South Korea. While the company was formerly known as GoldStar, in 1995 it was combined with Lucky Chemical and LS Cable, two other LG group enterprises.
In 1982, the business opened its first foreign production unit in the United States. GoldStar was renamed LG Electronics in 1994. LG purchased US-based television manufacturer Zenith and launched the world's first CDMA digital mobile phone in 1995 to increase its footprint in the United States. To design and develop liquid crystal displays, the business formed a joint venture with Philips, today known as LG Display, in 1999. (LCDs). In 2010, the business began producing smartphones and in 2021 the brand announced that it will stop manufacturing smartphones.
G-, V-, and F-series mobile communication products, in-car infotainment, HVAC and motor, and vehicle engineering components are amongst the devices and products it produces for commercial usage. In addition to compressors and motors, the company manufactures commercial display solutions, solar solutions, energy storage systems, energy management solutions, membranes, stylers, and lighting products.
The LG W41 is the company's most recent model. It has a 6.55-inch screen and a Quad Camera setup, which includes 48MP PDAF, 8MP Wide, 5MP Depth, and 2MP Macro lens. It boasts an 8-megapixel front camera.
