Agent Tesla

As the name suggests, Agent Tesla is essentially an information thief. It can monitor and collect the victim's keyboard input, system keyboard, take screenshots, etc. It can also exfiltrate credentials to a variety of software installed from Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and the Microsoft Outlook email client.

Trickbot

Also known as a banking virus, Trickbot is a modular Botnet and Banking Trojan. It is constantly said to be updated by hackers with new capabilities and distribution vectors.

XMRig

XMRig is an open-source CPU mining software that is used for mining process of the Monero cryptocurrency. XMRig was first documented to be in use in May 2017.

​Tofsee

Tofsee is primarily used for used for DDoS attacks, sending spam emails, and mine cryptocurrencies. This one has been around since 2013!

​Ramnit

Ramnit is related to banking and is a Trojan that steals banking credentials, FTP passwords, session cookies and personal data.

​Remcos

This is a dangerous one. Remcos mostly spreads via MS Office documents that are often attached to spam mails. This is designed cleverly to bypass Widnows UAC security with high-level privileges. 

​Glupteba

This one is connected to Bitcoins! This is a botnet that spreads through browsers and routers. 

​Ursnif

Ursnif is simply a Trojan that is made to attack the Windows platform. It steals data related to the Verifone Point-of-Sale (POS) payment software. 

​Formbook

This one simply steals credentials from web browsers and collects screenshot, monitors and logs keystrokes. It also has the ability to execute files.

​Nanocore

In operation since 2013, NanoCore is a Remote Access Trojan (RAT) that targets Windows operating system. This one is designed to do activities such as screen capture, crypto currency mining, remote desktop control and webcam theft.
