11-hour wait! Apple lovers queue up for iPhone 6
Customers around the US descended upon Apple stores to get their new iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus, that began retailing on Friday, unless they had pre-booked. The new phones hit markets in the US and eight other countries on September 19, costing $199, $299 and $399 for iPhone6. And iPhone 6 Plus starts at $299.
And they are here, both of them.
Joshua Rojas, a Maryland web designer, joined a queue outside a local Apple store around Thursday night, almost 11 hours before he finally got his hands on an iPhone 6 plus.

"I am not such a big fan of large smartphones," said Rojas, but he had to get an iPhone 6 Plus because of "large HD screen". And it was dwell worth the wait in the queue.
They are both thinner, larger and more powerful than their predecessors — the display screen are larger, for sure, 4.7'' for iPhone 6 and 5.5'' for iPhone 6 Plus.
Be warned: Plus is perhaps too big for your jean pockets.
The two phones play music and videos, shoot pictures, and do all of the things performed by their previous iterations did, and better. And also double up as your credit/debit car.
Announcing the new phones, and Apple Watch, earlier this month CEO Tim Cook had also announced Apple Pay, which would come embedded in these sets.
Apple Pay will turn these phones into credit/debit cards, which can be used pay for purchases with just a tap, without actually storing sensitive security details.
They will change the way we pay for things, Cook had said.
