Two retailers, one in the UK and one in the US, have published pricing and specification details for the still officially unconfirmed larger capacity 7-inch Google tablet.

Argos, a UK retailer, has become the latest store to publish details of a forthcoming 32GB Nexus 7 tablet. In its Christmas brochure, published Wednesday, it details the device for sale at £200 (about $320). Less than 24 hours earlier, the Staples Advantage website in the US also listed the device with a price tag of $248.27.

Though Google has yet to confirm that such a device exists, with each passing week more evidence accumulates that suggests the larger capacity device is not only real, but could be available to order by this weekend.

The Nexus 7 has been a huge hit around the world since it was launched with either 8GB or 16GB of internal storage back in July. Aggressively priced at $199 or $249 to compete head-on with devices such as Amazon's Kindle Fire HD and Barnes & Noble's Nook HD and HD+, it has been a hit with the tech community and consumers alike.

The Carphone Warehouse, the UK's largest independent smartphone and tablet retailer told the Telegraph on Monday that since its launch, the Nexus 7 had become its biggest-selling Android tablet.

By giving the new tablet at the same price as the existing 16GB Nexus 7 -- suggesting that prices across the range will drop to accommodate a new top model -- Google seems to be taking no chances. Amazon is set to launch a 32GB version of its Kindle Fire HD in the UK this month priced at £199 and although rumors about specifications and pricing persist, no one knows for sure how much Apple's rumored iPad Mini will cost when it goes on sale -- which industry insiders claim will occur on November 2.
