Amazon announces Prime Day 2020 sale in India

Amazon's upcoming Prime Day 2020 sale will begin at 12AM on August 6 and go on until 11:59PM on August 7.

Amazon India has finally announced the dates of its Prime Day 2020 sale in India. The annual event, which is being held in India for the fourth consecutive year, will begin at midnight on August 6 and will run for 48 hours until midnight of August 8.

During its upcoming Prime Day sale, Amazon will not only offer deals and discounts on the purchases made from companies such as Samsung, Intel, Voltas, Jabra, JBL, Whirlpool, Philips, Bajaj and Xiaomi among others but it will also a unique selection of products from thousands of Amazon sellers under programs such as Local Shops, Amazon Launchpad, Amazon Saheli, and Amazon Karigar.

Amazon said that during the 14-days leading up to the Prime Day, between July 23 midnight until 23:59PM on August 5, Prime members will get a 20% cashback of up to ₹200 on the purchase of products offered by SMBs.

During Amazon's Prime Day sale, members will get a 10% instant discount on the purchases made using the HDFC Bank debit and credit cards. Additionally, customers will get rewards worth over ₹2,000 on their everyday essential payments and shopping using Amazon Pay. Apart from this, Prime members will get 5% reward points along with a 5% instant discount on purchases made using the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card.
