Domino’s reacts after the Twitter post with disgusting mop hanging over Pizza dough goes viral
On July 24, a tweet was shared by Sahil Karnany, a Bengaluru-based techie, where he posted a horrific picture of pizza maker Domino's kitchen where the pizza dough could be seen kept right under a mop. Karnany wrote, “This is how @dominos_india serves us fresh Pizza! Very disgusted”, tagging FSSAI, ministry of health and concerned ministers. The Twitter post has since gone viral and has drawn a lot of criticism for the popular pizza chain restaurant. Now, on August 14, the official Twitter handle of Domino's finally made a public statement regarding the issue.
Reacting to the viral post, Domino's India tweeted on August 14, “We adhere to stringent world-class protocols for ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and food safety. The next day, on August 15, the company released another statement, claiming a strong action has been taken against the restaurant responsible. The statement noted, "Domino's adheres to world-class protocols for ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and food safety.
