Are you also facing issues with Gmail and other Google services?
On a day when tech enthusiasts all over the world were glued to Apple and the launch of the company's iconic iPhone X, another tech giant, Google faced a crisis of its own. Reports suggest that some of its important services, such as a YouTube, Gmail, Drive and Google Maps, were down in certain parts of the world. The problem seems to have affected users in Europe, North America and Japan.
According to DownDetector, a website that monitors the activity of internet services, there has been a steep increase of down reporting around 8 pm IST. A similar platform, Outage Report, also reported a spike in outage reports. In India, however, the services seem to have remain unaffected.
