Happy New Year 2023! Google welcomes annum with a special Doodle, says "Good fortune"!

Google is wishing everyone a Happy New Year 2023! And to welcome it, Google has shared a special Doodle.

Keeping its annual tradition going, Google is wishing eveyone a Happy New Year 2023! Google is celebrating the new year with a special Google Doodle today. The new animated Doodle shows 2022 turning into 2023. In the animated doodle, the year 2023 - featured in the centre, where number 2 keeps jumping and then changes to 2023. This New Year's doodle features all bright colours such as blue, red, green, and purple. Google said, "Happy New Year! However you choose to ring in the new year, here's to good fortune in 2023!"

In order to see Google's New Year 2023's celebratory doodle, you will have to visit the Google website and here, you will notice an animated and quite colourful Doodle. Once you click on the Doodle, a new page will open and your screen will be covered in confetti. If the celebratory virtual paper shower is not enough for you, then Google gives you another chance! You will also notice an animated cone on the left side of the page. All you need to do is tap on a confetti cone on the left side of the page and get confetti all over your screen as long as you want.

On Google Doodle page, the search giant also featured a special segment “this day in history” which highlighted several other shared Doodles on New Year over the past decade. Google claimed that over the years, its team has created over 5000 doodles for its home page around the world.

As per the Gregorian calendar, January 1 is celebrated as the first day of the new year which is widely celebrated across the world. People share wishes and gifts with their loved ones.
