How to send disappearing photos, videos on Instagram

Instagram is one of the most popular image-sharing platforms in the world. It not only enables users to share images and videos but over the years, Facebook has also added the ability that enables users to shop and even chat using this app.

In addition to this, Instagram has also added a feature that enables users to share disappearing images and videos on the platform. These images and videos stay in a receiver's inbox until they haven't seen them. They disappear once users have seen them.

So, here's how you can send disappearing photos and video on Instagram:

Step 1: Tap on the message icon in the top right of Feed.

Step 2: Tap Search, tap the username of the person you're searching for and then tap on the camera icon.

Step 3: Tap the circle at the bottom of the screen to take a photo or video.

Step 4: Choose to add effects.

Step 5: Select View Once to let the person or group receiving your photo or video only view it once or select Allow Replay to loop your photo or video or select Keep in Chat to keep a preview image of the photo or video visible in the chat thread.

Step 6: Tap on the Send button at the bottom of the screen.
