If there's any politician who can best represent the rage of Angry Birds, it is Pakistan's cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan. His fiery personality has become the inspiration behind Angry Imran, a smartphone app based on the popular Angry Birds game.
The popularity of the app is evident from that fact that is has been downloaded several thousand times since it was released for android phones and tablets three days ago.
Based on Rovio's popular Angry Birds game, Angry Imran 'catapults Imran into the giant heads of Pakistan's political leaders, smashing his way through wooden planks and stone plinths, as he vies for control of key cities before marching on the capital Islamabad. Victory at each stage is greeted by the voice of Mr Khan roaring 'Tabdeeli agayi hai (the change has come)'', reports the telegraph.
One would expect the PTI chief to turn red with anger, but he is being quite a sport about it and even finds it (app) quite funny'.
According to the telegraph, the app was developed by CreatiXe, a group of young developers in Pakistan. The group claims that the app was created for fun rather than as a political tool.
