HTC is all set to unveil its flagship smartphone for 2016 - the HTC 10 on April 12. The company has been bragging about its upcoming flagship in a series of teasers for weeks now.

In the latest teaser, the company focuses on the upcoming smartphone's battery performance. HTC said that they have put in a lot of effort for "crazy long hours" to improve the phone's battery life which users will experience when the smartphone will be unveiled on April 12.

The company has released more than five teasers of the HTC 10 so far, suggesting the HTC 10 will feature a metal frame around the edges, a dual-lens camera setup, the best BoomSound ever along with two back-lit capacitive buttons with a home button featuring a fingerprint scanner.

Based on preliminary leaks, the HTC 10 is expected to feature a 5.2-inch super LCD-5 QHD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB of RAM, 64GB/128GB in-built storage which is expandable via microSD slot along with a 3,000mAh battery.

The smartphone will reportedly run the latest Android Marshmallow and is expected to house a 12-megapixel "Ultra Pixel" camera along with a 5-megapixel front facing camera. Both the camera units will reportedly feature OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) which essentially helps focus the camera better and compensates in real-time for shaking and vibrating while taking pictures.

In addition, a Dutch site GSM Helpdesk has posted photos of the handset and claims the handset will go on sale globally starting mid-May. The images posted clearly reveal the smartphone will feature metal chamfered edges, along with a physical home button right below the display with two capacitive buttons for navigation and multi-tasking.
