NTA JEE Main 2021, NEET 2021: Students have been waiting for a long time to take this examination, which was cancelled and new tentative dates were thereafter, announced, but there is no sign of application forms appearing online for students to download. It may be recalled that, as with many others exams, this one too was delayed due to the raging Covid-19 pandemic. The threat posed by the virus was so high that the authorities could not guarantee proper social distancing and therefore, the exam schedule was scrapped. Everyone is now looking at the National Testing Agency (NTA) to declare the NTA NEET 2021 registration date to hold the NEET 2021 entrance exam.

However, things have moved on from there. The schedule has it that the NEET 2021 entrance exam date is August 1, 2021, but application forms are still missing on the official website, which is neet.nta.nic.in.

According to latest reports, the missing applications form links on the official website may well be due to the rising fears over the 3rd wave of Covid-19 pandemic. In fact, a State Bank of India (SBI) report has actually put a specific timeline to it. SBI Research revealed that the country may see the third wave of the coronavirus pandemic from August and it would peak in September. The report said, "Cases can start rising by the second fortnight of August." The peak of the second wave in India was reached on May 7.

Authorities responsible for holding the NEET 2021 entrance exams, as well as the two ministries (Health and Education) are expected to take a call soon. Only then will the NEET 2021 entrance exam date be announced.
