OnePlus 5 unveiled in the US, to be launched in India on June 22

The base model will cost $ 479 in the US and will go on sale from June 27. It will be available in Midnight Black and Slate Gray colour variants.

After months of speculations, the long-awaited OnePlus 5 was unveiled at the company's '2017 OnePlus Annual Flagship Launch' event in New York city on Tuesday.

The launch was hosted by the global leadership team of OnePlus, along with Carl Pei, OnePlus co-founder.

OnePlus 5, the latest offering by the Chinese smartphone maker features the latest Snapdragon 835 processor and a 6GB RAM. The base model will cost $ 479 in the US and will go on sale from June 27. It will be available in Midnight Black and Slate Gray colour variants.

The device will house 20MP rear dual-camera and 16MP front shooter built in partnership with DxO.

According to the company, OnePlus 5 is coming to India on June 22.

The launch is scheduled to be hosted by the global leadership team of OnePlus, along with Pete Lau, OnePlus Founder and CEO, at the NSCI Dome in Mumbai.

While it has officially been confirmed to be an Amazon India exclusive, the device will go on sale at 4.30 pm on June 22.
