Oppo Realme 1: Top 4 features of new Redmi Note 5 rival
Oppo on Tuesday launched its Realme smartphone brand in partnership with Amazon India. The first smartphone under the series is Realme 1 which goes on sale on May 25.
Oppo has aggressively priced it's Realme 1 smartphone packed with too hardware and software. The smartphone is pitted against budget dominator Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. To see what the buzz is all about here's a look at the top features of Oppo Realme 1 smartphone.
Oppo Realme 1 flaunts a 6-inch full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone's design is quite like other Oppo smartphones in the same price range but its material look makes it stand out. Especially the 'Diamond Black' colour variant gives the smartphone a very premium look and feel.
It is also offered in 'Solar Red' and 'Moonlight Silver' colours.
Processor, RAM and storage
Oppo Realme 1 runs MediaTek's Helio P20 processor under its hood. The company claims that it is the world's first 12nm processor.
In terms of memory, it comes in two variants of 3GB RAM plus 32GB storage and 6GB RAM plus 128GB storage. Oppo will also launch a mid variant of Realme 1 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It also has a microSD card slot for further expansion up to 256GB.
The smartphone is fuelled by a 3,410mAh battery. It also come with AI battery management which monitors the usage pattern and shuts down background apps accordingly.
Oppo Realme 1 runs Color OS 5.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The smartphone also comes with an Indian theme.
For photography, the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front camera. The front camera comes with vivid bokeh mode which focuses on the face while blurring the background. If also features AI Beauty, real-time object recognition and AR stickers.
