Apple is likely to launch its new iPhones at an event on September 9 and the buzz has kept the US-based company's fans on their toes.

While rumours and speculations are all the fans have at the moment, the event is almost certain to be a bit less radical than the makeover the iPhones got in 2014, turning them into big-screen phablets.

Apple may unveil the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6 Plus S — phones that will build on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus — though not in terms of design.

There is a section of Apple enthusiasts that has expressed dissatisfaction over the latest sweeping design change which, it says, has taken the new iPhones a bit closer to the curvy look of Samsung phones.
