Bike taxi service Rapido launched the Rapido Store in India today. The Rapido Store is a business delivery service that will enable local businesses to take care of multiple customer deliveries simultaneously in the most affordable and trusted manner. Additionally, it will also enable users to track all their deliveries across customers simultaneously.

This service is currently available in Bengaluru and Vijayawada and it will be available in other tier I and tier 2 cities where Rapido is available in the coming days. While in Bengaluru, the base price of the service starts at 35 for 3KM, base fare in Vijayawada stands at 30 for 30KM. To use this service, all users need to do is recharge their wallet and create an order.

The company has more than 15 lakh registered Captains in close to 100 cities. The company plans to leverage its fleet of Captains to make deliveries in a prompt and quick way via the Rapido Store.

India has close to 30 million small and medium enterprises that account for nearly 30% of the GDP. Rapido's newly launched service aims to make it easier for the MSMEs to operate under the changed circumstances.

“The sudden and prolonged changes in social and business landscape has caused a significant apprehension within local and smaller businesses. Rapido Store will give these businesses and entrepreneurs an opportunity to maintain continuity and also increase sales by reaching out to new customers by leveraging Rapido's extensive network. The service will allow these businesses to overcome manpower and mobility challenges by helping them deliver their orders and save time,” Rapido Co-Founder, Aravind Sanka said on the occasion.
