Realme 2 with Qualcomm Snapdragon processor to launch on August 28
Realme has confirmed its next phone will come with a notch display, dual-camera setup and 4,230mAh battery.

Realme is set to launch its next phone, Realme 2, in India on August 28. Ahead of the official launch, the company has confirmed its new phone will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The company hasn't specified which processor though.
In comparison, Realme 1 the first smartphone from the company runs a MediaTek Helio P60 SoC under its hood. Realme 2 will be a notable upgrade over the Realme 1 based on the details revealed by the company. The difference begins from the design which reflects on the notch display design for the Realme 2. This further leads to thin bezels leaving more room for the display. The notch on Realme 2 is a small one housing the earpiece and selfie camera.
Realme 2 will feature a dual-camera setup at the rear which will be placed horizontally. Up front, there will be a single camera for selfies. The company is also adding a fingerprint sensor on the Realme 2, a feature missing on its predecessor. Another improvement is a 4,230mAh battery which is bigger than the 3,410mAh battery on the Realme 1.
Realme 2 will still maintain the same design language of Realme 1. The smartphone will feature a diamond cut design wrapped in a plastic body giving it a premium look. Realme 2 is seen with a new shade of blue colour in its teaser.
Realme started as a sub-brand of Oppo with its first smartphone launching in May. The company soon after announced its departure from Oppo to operate as an independent company.
