Realme 3 Pro: 5 Things you need to know about new Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro rival
Realme 3 Pro will launch in India tomorrow. Here’s everything we know about the latest Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro competitor.
Realme is set to launch a new smartphone in India on Monday. Called Realme 3 Pro, the latest smartphone will compete with Xiaomi's Redmi Note 7 Pro. As the name implies, Realme 3 Pro will be an upgraded version of Realme 3 smartphone which launched in India last month.
Ahead of the official launch, Realme has already revealed some important details about the phone. Touted as 'speedster', Realme has promised big improvements in the specifications department. Here are five things you need to know about Realme 3 Pro.
64-megapixel Ultra HD mode
If you thought 48-megapixel on Redmi Note 7 Pro was overkill, wait for Realme 3 Pro. CEO Madhav Sheth earlier this week revealed Realme 3 Pro will feature an Ultra HD mode that will allow users to take 64-megapixel photos. Realme hasn't yet disclosed how the 64-megapixel mode will work, whether it will be using pixel binning or use some other technique.
Super slow motion
While most of the premium phones offer quality ultra slow motion camera capabilities, it's not available on budget and mid-range phones. Realme looks to tap this with its new phone. The company has hinted that its latest phone will support a super slo-mo mode. Realme also conducted a Twitter poll on this feature.
Better processor
Realme 3 used a MediaTek Helio P70 processor. For the pro version, Realme is expected to use a newer chipset, most likely from Qualcomm. Considering Xiaomi uses Snapdragon 675 processor on Redmi Note 7 Pro, Realme may use the same or a newer chipset.

Bigger, faster battery
Realme 3 Pro is expected to come with better battery life. In another tweet, CEO Madhav Sheth said the new Realme phone will be able to deliver 5 hours of talktime in just 10 minutes of charge.
Fortnite
Fortnite is one of the most graphic-intensive games out of there. Realme 3 Pro could be one of the first budget phones to support the popular mobile game. Interestingly enough, Xiaomi is also expected to update its recent Redmi Note 7 phones to support Fortnite.
