After letting 'Ask Me Anything' coordinator go, Reddit is hit with moderator backlash.

Victoria Walker, Director of Talent and the coordinator of 'Ask Me Anything' at Reddit, was discharged on July 2 for unknown reasons.

As a response to the decision, and also as a reaction to what has been perceived as years of site mismanagement and poor communication, moderators have started taking their subreddits private. This action means that only a few people can access the content, and entire communities are left outside.

Hundreds of subreddits are now unavailable as moderators wait for a response from Reddit, one of the most visited websites on the internet.
