Reliance Jio plans: Freedom Plans with no daily limit launched; here are all the details

It definitely helps to stay connected with your loved ones and friends, but the eye is always on the cost involved. Well, today, Reliance Jio has introduced its Jio Freedom Plans for prepaid users that cater to all segments. These Jio Freedom Plans are priced at ₹127, ₹247, ₹447, ₹597 and ₹2,397. What is important here is the fact that there are no daily limits imposed.
Reliance Jio has always played the disruptor's role in the telecom market and with these new Jio Freedom Plans it is looking to make a big impact again. Reliance Jio's biggest selling point has been that it provides affordable data plans and strong connectivity. Over the years, Jio offers and plans have brought high-speed internet connectivity within the reach of the masses across the country. And today, Reliance Jio has rolled out data plans for its users with no daily limit on daily usage.
Reliance Jio ₹127 Plan
Coming to details about specific plans, the ₹127 plan comes with a validity of 15 days and it offers 12GB of data with 100 SMS per day with unlimited voice calls and a free subscription to Jio apps.
Reliance Jio ₹247 Plan
On the other hand, the Reliance Jio ₹247 plan comes with a validity of 30 days and it offers 25GB of data with 100 SMS per day with unlimited voice calls.
Reliance Jio ₹447 plan
Similarly, the Reliance Jio ₹447 plan offers a validity of 60 days and 50GB of data.
Reliance Jio ₹597 plan
The Reliance Jio ₹597 plan offers 75GB of data and a validity of 90 days.
Reliance Jio ₹2,397 plan
The most expensive one is the Reliance Jio ₹2,397 plan. It offers 365GB of data and a validity of 365 days. All of these plans offer 100 SMSs per day along with unlimited voice data along with a free subscription to Jio apps.
The new Reliance Jio Freedom Plans come shortly after the company launched a WhatsApp chatbot for its users in India. This chatbot enables users to access the company’s services such as recharging their phone numbers and porting SIM among other things. Apart from mobile phone-related services, this WhatsApp chatbot can also be used for making JioMart and JioFiber payments.
Separately, reports have hinted at the company launching a new affordable device that has been made in collaboration with Google by Diwali. Reports also hint towards a smartphone crossing the research and development stage at the company. Word is that Google will optimise software for the device and companies such as Tata Electronics will provide components for the same. The device is expected to be priced below $50 ( ₹3,641 approximately). That said, Reliance Jio hasn’t officially made an announcement regarding this yet. But we will keep an eye out for details.
