Samsung Galaxy Note 9: Airtel offers 100GB monthly data, free Amazon Prime subscription
Airtel’s offer for Galaxy Note 9 comes bundled with the telco’s postpaid plan and additional offers.
Samsung announced the price for its latest smartphone, Galaxy Note 9 in India. The smartphone is up for pre-booking on Samsung's e-store with shipping starting on August 24. Airtel's online store has also started pre-booking for Galaxy Note 9 along with a bundled postpaid plan.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at ₹67,900. The top model of Galaxy Note 9 with 8GB RAM and 512GB storage has a price tag of ₹84,900. Airtel is offering only the base model of Galaxy Note 9 on its online store. The smartphone comes in three colour options of midnight black, metallic copper, and ocean blue. Airtel will start shipping the smartphone from August 22.
Under Airtel's offer, Galaxy Note 9 buyers will first have to make a down payment of ₹7,900 and then EMIs of ₹2,999 for 24 months. This brings the effective price of Galaxy Note 9 to ₹79,876 which is a whopping ₹11,976 more than the actual price but the phone comes with add-ons.
Airtel-Samsung Galaxy Note 9 offers
By paying an extra amount of ₹11,976, Galaxy Note 9 users will get offers bundled with an Airtel postpaid connection. These offers include 100GB data per month, 1 year subscription of Amazon Prime, free handset damage protection and unlimited local and national calls with no roaming charges. In essence, users would be paying ₹499 per month as their Airtel postpaid bill clubbed with these offers.
This offer is beneficial for those who wish to use an Airtel postpaid connection and the smartphone for a good two-year duration. The smartphone can be pre-booked otherwise through Samsung's e-store for other offers.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 pre-booking offers
Users who pre-book the phone through Samsung's e-store can get the Samsung Gear Sport for an offer price of ₹4,999. It is originally priced at ₹22,900. HDFC credit card holders can avail a cashback of ₹6,000 on pre-booking the smartphone. There are no cost EMI options starting at ₹5657 per month on select credit cards and Bajaj Finserv. Buyers can also exchange their old Samsung smartphone and avail a discount up to ₹6,000.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 specifications
Samsung's flagship smartphone has a 6.4-inch Quad HD+ display with in-house Exynos 9810 processor running under the hood. The US markets will get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845-powered Galaxy Note 9. Samsung is also offering a 512GB microSD card which will bump up storage capacity to 1TB on the 512GB model.
For photography, Galaxy Note 9 has a dual-camera setup of 12-megapixel sensors with dual optical image stabilisation (OIS), and an 8-megapixel front shooter. It is fuelled by a 4000mAh battery that is paired with fast-charging compatible with both wired and wireless charging. On the software front, it runs Android 8.1 Oreo.
