LG Electronics has introduced two new handsets in the Indian market — the LG GU220 and GU285 — which come in a sleek slider design.

The GU285 is 3G enabled and has a 2.2 inches screen with 1.3 MP smart camera, with an added function of printing images through bluetooth. The secondary VGA camera allows you to take your own portrait pictures. When 3G becomes more accessible to cellphone users it can also be used for video telephony .

Applications loaded include RockeTalk, connect, instant messengers like Gtalk or Yahoo, Live Cricket Action, regional newspapers online through news hunt and try and buy games.

The GU220 has a metallic look and seamless slide keypad with solid metallic design. It too has a 2.2 inches screen with ready to access functions from the home screen. Multimedia features include VGA Camera, FM recording and EDGE.
