Striiv releases mini fitness-tracking gadget
The maker of the portable fitness tracker Striiv recently launched an iOS fitness app that doesn't require extra hardware, and now it has announced a tiny new smart pedometer called Striiv Play that is small enough to tuck into your bra and frees you from having to carry your smartphone when you workout.


The maker of the portable fitness tracker Striiv recently launched an iOS fitness app that doesn't require extra hardware, and now it has announced a tiny new smart pedometer called Striiv Play that is small enough to tuck into your bra and frees you from having to carry your smartphone when you workout.
The smart pedometer can track all of your stats during your workouts -- stats that you can sync via Bluetooth 4.0 later for analysis, sharing with Facebook friends, and playing the signature Striiv games that let you progress by working out more - all for a price of $70.
The new device is only available in the US.
Other fitness-tracking devices on the market include Adidas MiCoach Pacer, Fitbit, Affectiva Q Sensor, Basis, BodyFit, and Digifit.
