As the week winds down, there is no let up in the fast and furious pace of announcements in the tech world. On the one hand, Facebook announced that it is redesigning the Settings section in its mobile app and on the other, we got a long list of games that will be arriving to Apple's game streaming service, the Apple Arcade, in the coming days. In addition to that, HP has launched the HP Pavilion Aero laptop in India while Xiaomi has launched its Mi TV 4C. So, here's what happened in the tech world today:

Facebook redesigns Settings section in apps

As of now, Facebook's Settings has a total of 10 sections, which include Account settings, Security, Privacy, Your Facebook Information, Ads, Stories, Notifications, Shortcuts, News Feed Settings, and Media and Contacts. Now, Facebook has announced that it is reducing some of these categories. The new Settings has six broader categories, which includes Account, Preferences, Audience and Visibility, Permissions, Your Information, and Community Standards and Legal Policies.

HP Pavilion Aero laptop launched in India

HP has launched the Pavilion Aero 13 in India, which it says is its lightest consumer notebook yet. It weighs under a kilogram and comes with the AMD Ryzen 5 and 7 5800U mobile processor paired with AMD Radeon graphics under the hood. It is priced at ₹79,999 for the AMD Ryzen 5 5600U processor variant and ₹94,999 for the AMD Ryzen 7 5800U processor variant.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4C 32-inch launched in India

Xiaomi has launched the Mi TV 4C 32-inch smart TV in India. It sports a 32-inch display that is powered by a quad-core processor. It has 20W speakers with DTS-HD Audio. It is priced at ₹15,999 and it can be purchased from Flipkart, the company's Mi.com store and Mi Homes.

New games are coming to Apple Arcade

Apple has announced five new games that will be coming to its game streaming platform, Arcade, soon. The company said that Apple Arcade subscribers can download three new Arcade games - Monster Hunter Stories, Stickman Golf 3, and Super Leap Day on Friday. Other two games, MasterChef: Let's Cook! and Layton's Mystery Journey will be coming to the platform soon.
