US Airways on Tuesday tweeted a pornographic image from their official handle creating quite a ripple in the Twitter community.
The tweet was pulled down about an hour later, but by then it had spread all over Twitter like wildfire. The Airline later acknowledged the tweet and apologised as well.
'We apologize for an inappropriate image recently shared as a link in one of our responses. We've removed the tweet and are investigating.' they tweeted.
Twitter however was on a roll. The tweet and image earned some hilarious reactions from shocked readers while others couldn't get enough of spinning jokes about the whole incident.
US airways just fired their social media interns. All of them. Forever.
