It's raining Mi 5 rumours. On the heels of an image that leaked over the weekend, technology website Gizmochina has posted yet another render of what is, allegedly, Xiaomi's next flagship phone.
But this time around, we have a date. Gizmochina reports that the Mi 5 will be announced on January 21 and will go on sale some time in February next year.
This is also the first image that reveals what looks like a fingerprint sensor on the front of the phone -- right underneath an iPhone-like Home button. Adding a physical Home button would be an interesting move for Xiaomi -- none of its previous flagships have featured a physical button on the front.
The Mi 5 is expected to feature a pressure-sensitive display (like the iPhone 6S), 2K resolution, 4 GB RAM, and a 21 megapixel rear camera. The device is expected to be 5.2-inches big.
