Fortnite Galactus event: How to watch, what to expect from the event

Fortnite Season 4 is over and it is time for game night. Epic Games is hosting the Fortnite Galactus event, which is officially called Nexus War finale event, on its platform. The event will begin on Tuesday, December 1 at 4PM ET in the US and in Canada. But if you are in India, you can see the event at 2:30AM IST.

How to watch the event?

To witness this gaming tournament, you will have to download the latest version of the game, that is Fortnite version 14.60 on your smartphone. Once you do that, you will have to login at the time of the event to view the event.

Epic Games says that while it has taken ample measures, it recommends that users log into Fortnite at least 60 minutes prior to the event's start. The event playlist will go live 30 minutes prior to the start time.

Additionally, the game has got Houseparty integration, which means that gamers can have live video chats in Fortnite while attending the event. This feature, however, is available only for PC, PS4 and PS5 users only.

What to expect?

Now, the million-dollar question: what should we expect from the upcoming gaming tournament?

Well, as mentioned before, the Fortnite Galactus event marks the end of Season 4. It is possible that once the event ends the game will remain unreachable until December 3.

As far as the event is concerned, it will witness Galactus, who is a Marvel supervillain, invading the island. Fortnite has remained tightlipped about the event. However, a bunch of data miners have dropped hints (via PCGamer) as to what we can expect from the event. Take a peek:
