Apple has started selling the Sony PlayStation5 Dual Sense Controller from its official website in the US. The gaming controller is available at a price of $69.95 ( ₹5,100 approx.). This is the same price at which Sony sells the device on its official website. Orders placed today are estimated to be delivered next week.
As far as support is concerned, Apple had released iOS 14.5, iPadOS 14.5, macOS 11.3 and tvOS 14.5 last month bringing support for PS5 and Xbox Series X controllers to iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac respectively. Once updated, users can play any controller-supported game using these controllers. This not only includes the gaming titles available on Apple Arcade but also the ones that can be streamed via PlayStation’s Remote Play app.
It is worth noting that the PS5 DualSense Controller is available only in the White colour variant. Sony recently announced new Cosmic Red and Midnight Black colour variants of its PS5 DualSense Controller, but those variants are not available on Apple’s website. In addition to the PS5 DualSense Controller, Apple is also selling other ‘Made for iPhone’ gaming controllers, which includes SteelSeries Nimbus+ and Rotor Riot Wired Game Controller among others on its official website.
