Asus launches laptop with two screens, ROG Zephyrus Duo 15: Here’s how much it costs

Asus has just unveiled its unique yet high-end laptop in India, the ROG Zephyrus Duo 15. The highlight of the device is its ScreenPad Plus, the second screen that lets creators and gamers do more than what they can with a single-screen laptop. The Zephyrus Duo 15 (GX550) starts at ₹2,79,990 and will be available from September 29 from Asus Exclusive Stores, ROG Stores and e-commerce firms – Flipkart and Amazon India.

The ScreenPad Plus screen tilts at 13-degrees when you open the laptop. It is a 14.1-inch frame that acts as an extended display with app and stylus support. So, users can work on multiple apps easily or on a single app with more functionalities showcased at once. There’s a separate Settings option for it as well. Besides this, there’s a 15-inch screen that comes in FHD resolution and 300Hz refresh rate. There’s a 4K (UHD) variant as well that supports 100% Adobe RGB colour space. In addition, the laptop has 3ms grey-to-grey response time for minimal ghosting in addition to Nvidia G-Sync.

Powered by 10th-gen Intel Core i7 or i9 processors, the ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 also gets up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Super Max-Q GPU with 8GB GDDR6 VRAM. While you get 16GB RAM onboard, it can go up to 48GB. You also get 512GB or 1TB of M.2 SSD slot (NVMe PCIe) PCIe 3.0. Some connectivity features included are Wi-Fi 6 with Gig+ performance, Bluetooth 5.0, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C with DisplayPort, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A ports, HDMI 2.0b, 3.5mm Microphone-in jack and more.

It even has dual 4W speakers with high-res certification and Smart AMP technology. Backing the entire device is a 90Wh battery.
