Asus launches TUF Dash F15 gaming laptop in India: Price, specs and feature

Asus has expanded its line of TUF laptop portfolio by launching the new TUF Dash F15. Sporting a thin and light design, this new 15-inch laptop comes with the latest 11th generation Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce GPUs. It's worth mentioning that this device was first unveiled during the virtual conference at CES 2021 in January.

The TUF Dash 15 is touted for its tournament-level gaming panels with up to 240Hz refresh rate, Thunderbolt 4 port, support for two way AI noise cancellation technology and a battery that is claimed to deliver up to 16.6 hours of video playback. It also supports type-C charging that extends battery life from several adapters and power packs.

The laptop is also MTL-STD-810H military standard certified, which means it can resist everything from extreme environments and ambient vibration to accidental knocks and bumps. You get this in two colour variants - Moonlight White and Eclipse Gray.

Besides the Intel 11th generation Core i7 processor as mentioned above, the device also supports up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM (3200Mhz) along with PCI Express SSD and up to 1 TB of storage space. The processor is coupled by NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070/3060 GPU clocked up to 1390Mhz at 80W with ROG boost. It also has an easy upgrade design that puts the SO- DIMM slot and both M.2 slots just behind the bottom panel. Also mentioned is that the pop-open screw pushes the bottom corner away from the chassis so it's easy to get under the hood fast. The surrounding hooks, holding the edges together are smaller and stronger than conventional counterparts, which makes it easy to lift off the pedal without scuffing the body or special tools.

As for the battery life, besides being claimed to go up to 16.6 hours of continuous video playback, Asus says that the new Dash F15 laptop also has a fast charging technology that takes the battery from 0% to 50% in under 30 minutes. In addition, type-C adapters up to 100W are supported. This means that users can travel lighter and save the standard AC adapter for gaming or other intensive tasks that need full performance.

It's worth mentioning that the device has three USB 3.2 type-A ports, HDMI 2.0b, DisplayPort 1.4 support, Wi Fi 6 and Gigabit Ethernet support as well.

For the cooling mechanism, Asus Dash F15 comes with a heat spreader and five copper heat pipes to distribute thermal energy from the CPU, GPU, RAM, and VRM into four heat

sinks. There are also dual fans that channel air through four outlets. With 0dB Technology, the fans switch off completely when CPU and GPU temperatures drop below 50°C in the Silent operating mode.

TUF Dash F15 can be purchased at ₹1,40,990 for the base model. It will be available by the end of this month across all channels including Flipkart and Amazon. It will also be available in Asus exclusive stores and ROG stores.
