HP Chromebook 11a launched in India, priced at ₹21,999

HP has launched a new Chromebook in India. HP Chromebook 11a comes with the MediaTek MT8183 octa-core processor, and up to 16 hours of battery life. The laptop made its debut back in October last year.

HP Chromebook 11a is available exclusively on Flipkart for a starting price of ₹21,999. It comes in only one ‘Indigo Blue’ colour with a matte finish, and also a colour-coordinated keyboard deck that matches with the laptop’s lid cover. Its textured finish is said to offer an easy grip for users. The Chromebook is light weighing 1.05 kgs, and is aimed at students. It also comes bundled with 100GB of Google One cloud storage giving users access to Google experts for a year, and more.

In terms of specs, HP Chromebook 11a features an 11.6-inch HD anti-glare display. It is powered by the MediaTek MT8183 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of storage. The Chromebook also features a microSD card slot for expandable storage up to 256GB.

On the software front, the Chromebook runs on ChromeOS with access to apps from the Google Play Store. It also comes with support for Google Assistant. Its connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 5, a USB Type-A port, a USB Type-C port, and an audio jack. The laptop is also equipped with an HP True Vision HD webcam.

The Chromebook packs a 37 WHr battery with support for fast charging. HP claims the Chromebook can last for up to 16 hours on a single charge.
