Xiaomi is scheduled to launch its first laptop in India on June 11. The company has now shared a teaser for the Mi Notebook highlighting its battery life.
Xiaomi teases the battery life of the Mi Notebook with a video of a clock with laptops that run for 12 hours. This more or less confirms that the Mi Notebook will offer up to 12 hours of battery life. Most laptops do offer around the same battery life so this isn’t really significant.
Xiaomi had previously teased the display of Mi Notebook which shows very slim bezels. The full design hasn’t been revealed but the laptop looks quite like ones that are available right now. The company also confirmed that the Mi Notebook will feature a full HD display.
It will also have a slim body and it will be light-weight. The laptop will be powered by Intel’s Core i7 processor. That’s all we know about the Mi Notebook so far. There’s no confirmation though on whether it will be an entirely new laptop from Xiaomi or a rebranded version of an existing one.
Some speculate that the Mi Notebook will be a rebranded RedmiBook 13 which launched last December. This laptop also comes with an i7 processor so the rumour could be true. Other features on the RedmiBook 13 include 8GB of RAM, 512GB SSD storage, dual 2W speakers with DTS Audio support.
