Those who are looking to buy a laptop should consider waiting a while. While they may have a personal favourite, like Dell, HP, Lenovo, Asus and more, a new arrival has promised much. Xiaomi launched the newest member of its Redmi Note 10 family, that is, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10T 5G smartphone in India earlier this week during an event where it also made another revelation. The smartphone was launched in India at a starting price of ₹13,999 for the base variant and it is set to go on sale in the country starting July 26. What really caught the attention at the event though, was that Xiaomi also teased new products that the company would be launching in the coming days. The list includes power banks, Redmi audio, smart TVs and fitness bands. It also teased the phrase “RedmiBoo” towards the end of the event indicating that the company is planning to launch a brand new laptop under its sub-brand, Redmi in India soon.
“We have launched products that would complement your phone and your lifestyle, like power banks, earbuds, and smart bands. This year, we took a step further and ventured even into the smart television segment. And now, we have something very interesting coming up,” Xiaomi India's CEO Muralikrishnan B said at the event.

Beyond this, the company didn’t divulge any details about its upcoming RedmiBook laptop. However, it is safe to say that since Xiaomi has started teasing the device, it should arrive in India soon.
Notably, this is not the first time that we have been hearing about the launch of new laptops from Xiaomi in India. The company already offers a wide portfolio of laptops to its users in India. The list includes Mi Notebook 14 Horizon, Mi Notebook 14 (IC), Mi Notebook 14 and Mi Notebook 14 e-Learning Edition. Now, reports are suggesting that the company is planning to expand its portfolio of laptops in the country by launching two new laptops -- Mi Notebook Pro 14 and Mi Notebook Ultra 15. These upcoming laptops are expected to be rebranded versions of the RedmiBook Pro 14 and the RedmiBook Pro 15 laptops that have already made a debut in China. It remains to be seen if Xiaomi launches these laptops in India with their original monikers or as a part of its Mi Notebook portfolio.
