Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 specs leaked, it could come with a 120Hz refresh rate

The specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 has leaked online. The latest foldable from Samsung comes after the company introduced the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G smartphones earlier this year. The handset to follow was expected to be called Galaxy Z Flip 2, however, the leak suggests that it is going to be called Galaxy Z Flip 3 instead.

According to the information shared by Vietanamese leaker @Chunvn8888 on Twitter, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is going to come with a 6.9-inch foldable screen with “less crease” and a refresh rate of 120Hz. This is a big leap from the current Galaxy Z Flip 5G that has a 60Hz refresh rate.

The outer display on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is expected to be 2x to 3x larger than the one found on the current Galaxy Z Flips. The main display inside is also expected to come with thinner bezels and a smaller punch-hole design for the selfie camera.

The information in the leak suggests that there is going to be a 3,900mAh battery with the real battery capacity ranging somewhere between 3,700 to 3,800mAh. This is bigger than the 3,300mAh battery that is on the Galaxy Z Flip 5G.

The new foldable is also expected to be more durable thanks to a new ultra-thin glass that’s going to be used for the display.

Older leaks about the Galaxy Z Flip 3 have hinted at stereo speakers instead of the downward-firing mono speakers. Also, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is expected to be launched some time around September next year and not by summer as speculated.
