It’s that time of the year when Apple hosts an event and dazzles us with its new products -- once again. Apple will be hosting its 'One More Thing’ event tonight. At its upcoming event, the company is expected to launch Apple Silicon-powered Mac computers and laptops.
To give you a quick recap, Apple, at its annual developers’ conference WWDC 2020 had announced Apple Silicon. At the same time, the company had said that it would gradually be moving away from Intel processors in its personal computer and laptop and replacing them with its ARM processor in the coming years. Tonight , the company is expected to take its very first step in that direction by launching ARM-powered Mac computers.
Notably, this is not the first event this fall. Apple first hosted a special event in September wherein it launched the Apple Watch Series 6, Apple Watch SE, iPad Air and a new budget iPad. In the second event that was held last month, the company launched the iPhone 12 series smartphones along with MagSafe chargers and the HomePod Mini. Now, it is time for the company’s PC lineup.
We at HT Tech will be closely following the event. So, stay tuned to find out more about today’s Apple event.
